Prancing on Ice
Pontcanna Dental Care celebrated the 50th birthdays of both Alyn and Charlie at the Cardiff Devils Big Blue Tent.
As match sponsors of the Devils' fixture against Hull Stingrays, Alyn carried out the ceremonial puck drop (apparently he was used to dropping a rugby ball so this was well up his street), while Charlie presented cases of Desperados to two players awarded man-of-the-match (many wondered whether there was actually anything in the box or had Charlie already guzzled them...).
The guests thoroughly enjoyed the buffet laid on by fellow sponsors Juboraj, to the point where there wasn't a naan left to mop up the tikka massala!
On the night Alyn and Charlie were presented with gifts from the team at Pontcanna Dental which were a voucher apiece to go white water rafting down at the Bay rafting centre (which they'll be doing on Novemeber 23rd if anyone fancies a chuckle!), and a personalised bottle of Italian Brandy each from Vom Fass.
Although the result didn't go the way of the Devils, all who attended had a great night out and would recommend it to anyone looking for a different night out. We would also recommend the Devils if you wanted to get involved as a sponsor. We look forward to working with them further in the months ahead.
